QPR pegged back late on
10:29am Monday 15th December 2008
Queens Park Rangers were denied a win after a late equaliser by Plymouth in the Championship on Saturday.
Heidar Helguson fired the visitors in front in the first half, with his first goal for the R's, after a pass from Martin Rowlands. But the hosts earned a 1-1 draw when Steven MacLean rifled in an equaliser from six yards out in the 83rd minute.
Rangers' first-team coach Paulo Sousa said: "Helguson took his goal well and he will grow in confidence.
"That is the main thing for me- the players and the team grow in confidence and show consistency because in this league you have to be consistent."
